As most of you know, TMS is closing on Oct. 24th. Some of us aren’t a bit surprised by this at all. I know quite a few people who harbor hard feelings towards TMS and the “MoD Squad”. Well, I for one think it’s a sad day. TMS used to be such a fun place to hang out. What happened? Too many mods for one thing. And Adora begging for money to get her teeth fixed. Ugh! When you have too many people in charge things are bound to get ugly. TMS was full of back stabbing bitches, and the Moles site really did them in. I know all good things must come to an end, but this was an unnecessary death. Good Job Adora and crew!
Well how can you say goodbye to a place that once was a place to have fun and make friends.
To the head Bee. Thank you for showing me how to be a backstabbing, power hungry, two-faced liar. You would pretend to be a friend and be all worried about them. Then stab them in the same breath. Figuring out your next scam to get money from people. Not to mention your cruel practical jokes. However, anything you did was “for the sake of your website”. You would ask a question wanting a truthful answer, but heaven help the ones that didn’t give the answer you wanted to hear.
TMS was supposed to be your baby, but you would disappear for weeks on end. Leaving to your mods. Only time you would pop back up was to ridicule them for not handling it right. The only mods you kept for any length of time petted your ego. And told you what you wanted to hear. They would rat out anyone. But believe you me they talked just as bad about you behind your back. Many IM’s were sent about you. Never as a PM on your little site. You like to read them too much.
You kissed up to other sites. You wanted information. Like maybe, they would tell you who the moles were. HMMM…never did find out did you?
Maybe your final statement should read, “TMS has closed because my stupid ego ran it into the ground,”
It was quite funny to watch Adora and all her little minions scramble to “weed” out the moles wasn’t it! Too bad they failed. They even went so far as to say it was a trojan that someone had installed on the site.

LOL, I do miss the early days of TMS when it was crazy fun, you didn’t get a nasty pm for stating your thoughts/opinions, only a handful of mods (not 10000000 zillion), it was all about Taylor and not boosting somebody’s damn ego, I could go on.
I heard the former mods are on a lesbo vacation. Lots of alcohol and cuddling…..gag!
It’s been a long time since I have felt safe to vent about TMS. Now that they are going, going, gone – I can safely say – good riddance to the trashy site that tms became. I quit posting and never looked back when several of my friends were abused and although I was right in the middle of it – I never caught blame. My friends were friends that I made on TMS and they became my best friends. Other backstabbing bitches that I thought were my friends dumped me and never thought about it twice because of the people that I chose to keep as friends. The fun, enjoyable and lively place that I began to call home quickly became a dumping ground for mods and admins to pick on people. Those who encouraged the hatefulness and supported it were rewarded with more and more power to abuse the authority that they had become. I’m lucky enough to live in a place in which I can pick and chose my friends and I don’t have to deal with the crap that tms quickly earned a reputation as handing out. I wonder if they realize that they turned a lot of people’s “home away from RL” into a hellhole that not even the devil himself would approach. That’s pretty sad when the webmaster of a site becomes worse than satan himself. Now I remember why I chose to leave and all I can say “so long to the wasteland and garbage dump that used to be a beautiful, wonderful home”
I miss the early days of tms. It was actually a fun site. But once the clique took over, everything went to shit.
Damn. That site had 2500 members at one point. It’s very telling that “Adora’s” new site only has 65 members. Kind of sad that anyone wants to hang out there. I guess they enjoy being treated like crap.
Toobad that means 2435 people have figured out that it is not worth the hassle.

I met some cool people there who are still my friends. The site turned to sh**, but I made some good friends.
Okay-dokey! Where do I start? Oh-I know. Seeing my friends get bashed by mods when they didn’t agree with their point of views. Two especially mean-spirited mods: bitchcat and Lovesgoodfood would pounce right on them.

lovesgoodfood was the first to jump me – and all because of a friend that offended her by “talking to her” – I was treated like dirt by her and her friends after that time. Good riddance, hopefully the new life they get will give them a taste of what they did to us. We can only hope.

However much I liked TMS at one point, I am not sad it is closing now. Like many of you at one time, I felt it was home. I made many close friends. The differences of what it was and what it became are glaring. I remember when we (mods included) would call any female even remotely linked to Taylor as a ‘raggedy a**ed c*nt’. But when CL showed up, OMG, if you didn’t talk about her like an angel from heaven your posts were deleted. And the condescending way the mods would talk to some of the members pissed me off too. It just got to be too much to be around. I asked to be unregistered…I got banned instead. Adora claimed I was being “nasty” in PMs to her and her minions. Yeah ok. How about your mods were being nasty to me for saying their little Aprils Fools joke was uncalled for. Anyway, I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders when I left.

It was only a matter of time till the bitch mods all turned on each other. Being backstabbing bitches finally caught up with them. TMS was a decent place to hang in the beginning til the jealousy set in during the tour.
The mods glared, stared, talked about any attractive fan who didn’t weigh 2 tons at Tay gigs. If you talked to Bill or any band member you were trashed via the private forum, PMs, etc.

I remember TMS back in the early days when it was a cool place. Adora had the best Tay graphics around. And whatever happened to the Taylor fan fic thread they had there? (password = onion. LOL) That was some hot stuff! Is that archived anywhere? I especially remember True North’s stories. Now that I think of it, whatever happened to her?
I haven’t been to TMS in a long time, so I can’t really say I’m “sad” about it closing. It’s a shame though. Another site crumbling from the inside out it seems.

Looks like Tapp is getting her wish afterall. She ran TMS into the ground with her backstabbing and control freakish nature then went on to create a new site and brought her followers along.

Tappanga posted as Taylor Hicks several times on that site and Adora and the others played the game with her. Several people believed it was Taylor and feelings got hurt. That’s when I realized just how twisted Tapp was and still is. Watch out Morgan because you are being used.

What’s TMS? As of October 24th it is just a disgusting memory. At one point it was a nice place to hang your hat.
October 24th will be a happy day in Taylorland! Finally, this fandom will be rid of the scum known as TMS. Sadly, the place started out great. In it’s hey day, it was alot of fun. Slowly, the married bi-curious attention whores took it over, and it became a cesspool of toxic hate and deceit. In the background, Adora was always egging on that deceitful behavior. The upper echelon (a very few excluded) of TMS fed their Munchausen Syndrome By Proxy. They’d take turns preying on the ones that didn’t fit neatly into their clique, and then send someone in to apologize and make it all better. All in effort to make themselves look important and worthy. Then, all of them would gather in their Mod forum nest and high five each other on a job well done.
The second best thing to happen to TMS, besides them closing their doors is when the Moles came to town. They were turning on one another like the rabid dogs they are.
Adora only liked Taylor for a very short time. Mostly, she and a few others thought Taylor was a washed up hack. She held onto TMS because it was her ego feeding petting zoo. She’d disappear for weeks at a time, then make her grande entrance, and expect everyone to kiss her ass- because after all she’s “The Webmaster” Big f’ing deal.. anyone can make a website.
I see the group has now splintered off into two different websites. Team Adora and Team Tappanga. Rumor has it, that Team Tappanga are repenting Taylor fans. They’ve seen the err of their ways, and are trying to hold onto any connections they might still have.
Interesting that a few are so predictable as to which site they landed up on.

I , like a lot of you have written, at first had a blast on TMS. I had never been on a fansite before, but again, like a lot of you, I got intrigued by a cute, gray haired, dorky guy, And I could go there and read that other gals kinda wanted to do him also, even tho most of us are almost old enough to be his …um, older sister..LOL.. Well, My story goes like this….. I never posted a ton, I did comment a little, and read a bunch. I made some friends, on the site, and at the 3-4 shows that I got to go to… One fateful show in S.C. , my friends (and you KNOW who you are) and I were in the bar at the Hotel, and Low & behold, here comes the whole damned band. We all started talking, partying and acting stupid… I personally went to bed before the evenings festivities were over…WELL…The very next Monday, my friends and I posted some pretty funny pics from that evening and the TMS BITCHES were on us like a pack of FAT, UGLY wolves. I guess just because we were not fat asses, with crooked teeth, we were BAND WHORES and GROUPIE SLUTS..They even went so far as to photoshop assinine (?) sayings on their own pics about being with the band and such shit..Anyway, to make a LONG story LONGER… These pitiful, no-life bitches were so jealous that we talked to Taylors band, that overnight we (about 6 of us) were made fun of and sent ugly pms, and basically run off… (it was relly a good thing)…One of my friends was banned because she said that she thought the SLASH stories, about Taylor sucking someones pecker, was wrong and disrespectable… To sum this up..I think this is a GREAT day for Taylor, and Taylor fans..Oh yeah, The TMS group gave me dagger shooting looks in NYC when I attended Grease, and especially when Taylor stood and talked to me..If looks could kill, Id be a dead MF…. The kicker is a MOD plagerized a story and NOT a thing was done. I have copies of both. The first chapter is almost exactly word for word the same.

There was so much shit going on behind the scenes it wasn’t funny. Adoraphobic does a real swell job of running a website. It won’t be long and her Things Made of Shit site will be in the same shape as TMS.

Yes, Tapp actually banned Jeannie and CBB (or took part in it). I loved the way Jeannie and CBB would post things to get under Tapp’s skin over there. Then *poof* they were both banned. Sickandtired, there’s nothing wrong with giving people a place to vent over what went down at TMS. It was a fun wonderful site at one time. But a certain group of people were allowed to run it into the ground and ruin the fun for everyone, and yes, you know who the certain group is because you were chummy with all of them. Little do you know that they mocked you too behind your back. I really feel that if it weren’t for them it wouldn’t be closing. No one forced you to read this. If you don’t like it fine. Hello its been several months since I posted here I have personal reasons for that.
Anyway I felt the need to come here & express how much ill miss the site [b]this place once was when i joined July 5th 06[/b]. Ill miss the fan fic & stuff. If not for Adora making this site I may never have met some of the best friends I have ever had {you know who you are :heart:} for that I thank you Adora.
However i wont miss the trash talking back stabbing BS place it’s been allowed to become over the last year or a little less. I wont go into detail {so don’t ask} but I have heard things & people have either left on their own or just stopped posting or been booted for 1 reason or another due to BS & for whatever reasons. In the last taylorhicks.com {b4 the drop by the label} Taylor himself chose this site cause it was full of good people & tons of info & pics & music & this place had more members than TOPS {far as i know}. But when he got dropped the site got dropped with it. There are other Taylor forums out there & I know 1 person tried to promote her site in the Site promotion thread & she was pretty much given the cold shoulder for it so she said to heck with it & I don’t think she’s been back since.
If i upset anyone with anything I said above its how I feel & i wont apologize for how i feel.
Anyway I will miss the old TMS from 06 & 07 & i miss the fan fic & the pics & jokes, but all good things come to an end sometimes. for those of you I’m not in other forums with or friends with at MySpace or face book Good luck to you. I hope those of you that are proud of Taylor doing Grease {i have been proud of & thrilled for him since the announcement may 16.I love it all the singing his Hair the suite he’s still my heart throb & always will be} will go out & see him this winter & Spring in your area, I’m going to see him in Chicago in Jan with like 8 friends lol.

As for being ‘chummy’….I try to be friendly with everyone because I don’t want to get messed up in all the feuds and backstabbing. That’s just not me. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and I don’t like taking sides. And I hate seeing so much shit slinging going on. No one is all innocent or all guilty in things that went on at TMS. I don’t know all the gory details (and don’t want to) but it’s all over and done. Why can’t it just die with the site? That’s all I’m saying. I loved TMS. I always will. And I enjoyed ALL of you, for the most part, most of the time.

It’s really sad! I know people whose lives were really messed up by some of the people on TMS. One of the favorite past times was to sling accusations (true or not) and they didn’t care who it hurt. The chips just eventually fell where they fell and that was that.
I really liked TMS when I first joined and for the first few months I was there. That’s the TMS I’ll miss. Then it got to be too much to handle. My life and my family are too important for me to let them be affected by all the crap. As it is, me being stressed out over how some good friends of mine and myself were treated was bad enough.

You are so right! Those bitches were mean to anyone who disagreed with them. They changed members avies, added banners, etc. to their posts. Sent hate mail via PMs and deleted posts without cause.
Mods pushed and shoved to be in front at gen adm shows and stared and made fun of other fans. My friends and I made the mistake of posting a pic of us in a forum! We regret it now cause they gave us hateful looks any time we ran into them. We didn’t even know those mods.
Oh, God forbid if a band member or BW speaks to you! Those bitches threw daggers! At OB, I thought AZGoddess was going to hit my friend for talking to Brian G!
I just have to say that not all the mods at TMS were guilty of the things we have been accused of doing. I personally never read anyone’s PMs. I never sent an ugly PM to anyone. I won’t say that others didn’t – I just want it known that there were some mods there that didn’t. I’m sorry for all the hurt feelings. It really saddens me. I loved TMS and still do love the memories I have from there. I met a lot of great people through that site and I will forever be grateful for that.

I don’t blame one person for the demise of TMS. It was a group of mods/admin who abused their power. It is really sad this group is throwing the blame around on each other. Nobody will step up and accept responsibility.
And the biggest joke is Tapp thinking people left TMS because of the negativity towards Taylor. Uh, no, people left TMS because we found out what was going on behind closed doors in the mod room. We found out we were being made fun of and we were bullied around. We left because it turned into a Bill Will site. We left because all the attention started focussing on Merch guy, Wes, and others we really weren’t interested in worshipping.
I would love for the TMS Mods to grow some balls and take the blame for this.
I remember particularly Tapp & crew (aka ass kissers of Tapp) being rude to members for being snarky along with them just in good fun. For Tapp & crew, members are considered lowly creatures and should never be allowed to join in on the fun. You could just tell the difference in the way they “joked” w/ each other vs. the members. Then Moles exposed the fact that they also have a private “room” where these mean girls enjoyed bashing these unsuspecting friendly members. It is truly sad that Taylor fandom has resorted to this, and we have TMS to ‘thank’ for it.

Tapp, I’ve met Val and she is a sweet person. She didn’t do anything to deserve being banned, and you know it. Jealousy just got the best of you.
I have been a TMS member for over two years. Somehow, while being fairly active there, I escaped being the victim of the shit that you are all bitching about here. There are many of us who had a good experience and are able to say they made great friends there. We are all willing to speak out and tell people that, but are drowned out by the haters.
Now, I don’t have rose-colored glasses. I know stuff went on behind the scenes. But the bottom line is, Adora brought down TMS. She was ill-equipped to be a site administrator. You can’t run a fan site when it’s all about you! It has to be a labor of love – the love you have for the artist and the community that develops. Whether that love for Taylor ever existed for Adora is a big question. She played favorites and was easily manipulated by her staff. She allowed the behind-the-scenes stuff to go on, and kept mods whose sole purpose became to bash Taylor. And even though they have gone onto Adora’s new site, a non-Taylor site, I’ve heard that they still spend a ridiculous amount of time bashing him. Obsessed a bit?! Those people remain mods to this day, and in the past few months, only came back over to TMS when there was an opening to bash Taylor and criticize his decisions. And her inflexibility ultimately hastened the end of TMS. Denise wanted to make it work but she wasn’t allowed to do it the way it should have been done. And that’s sad. I do hope that people will give Denise and Kathy a chance with their new site because they are two of the good ones.
I believe Tapp when she says that she couldn’t stand the Taylor bashing that was going on. Her new site is far from unicorns and rainbows (thank God!) but it allows people to honestly state their feelings while supporting Taylor. The people who are gathering there take a realistic view of the man – he is not a saint, nor is he the devil, not an unabashed success, but certainly not a failure.
Reality is good. Some of ya’ll might want to try it sometime.
I do have reality when it comes to TMS and Adora. Maybe some were able to stay under the radar there.

I certainly agree that it is sad. And I understand that people feel like they were hurt. But what I have trouble with is people not letting go. Move on people. This has become an obsession, plain and simple. Take your happiness with the site’s demise and go home! If you were so hurt by these people, why keep bringing it up? Like someone else said, I have too much drama in my life to deal with the judgemental bullshit that has been handed down by the same people who judged me and my friends. TMS closing is a good thing, it’s too bad that the ALL (and notice, not one person was singled out, because the number of people to blame are too numerous to list )of the people to blame will still be around harrassing someone else, somewhere else.
